As a Project Manager for power transformers, you will take over the project details from the sales team and have to bring the customer's requirements for project implementation into our organization. In a typical week, you will have to drive the technical clarifications between the customer and our engineering team during the design process. The intensive coordination of the manufacturing activities with regard to the relevant project milestones for the customer is an essential task for you until the finished transformer leaves our factory after the final quality controls. Managing the logistics and assembly on site including handover to the customer are usually your last steps in project execution.
You must work with our QM department to monitor the quality requirements for the products, monitor cost developments in collaboration with the commercial project management and keep management informed of project progress throughout the entire project.
How you can make a difference
- Taking over the independent project management for medium-power transformers for customers in Europe and North America
- Efficient and regular communication with customers and the plant
- Ensuring the work results for the key project milestones, especially with regard to quality requirements, adherence to deadlines and cost targets
- Coordination of the engineering, SCM, manufacturing and quality processes throughout the entire project duration until the end of the warranty period
- Responsibility for Risk & Opportunity, Claim & Change Order Management in cooperation with commercial project management
- Collaboration on digitization tasks
What you bring with you
- Completed university degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study.
- professional experience in international project management.
- Fluent written and spoken German and English.
- Methodological knowledge in project management, independent & result-oriented working style.
- Enjoyment in dealing with customers, flexibility and customer orientation.
- High level of communication skills, analytical ability, team orientation and social competence across the project team.
