About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced "Professional Engineer (PE)" to serve as a Group Manager for one of our client's in West Virginia. This leadership role combines technical expertise, business development, and people management. 

As the Group Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and service delivery while fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Take charge of overseeing engineering projects from planning to execution.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional development and technical excellence.
• Financial Management: Manage profit and loss (P&L), budgets, schedules, and resources for the office.
• Business Development: Drive business development initiatives, including client relationship management and proposal preparation.
• Safety & Quality: Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and engineering best practices.
• Office Growth: Contribute to the growth of the satellite office by identifying opportunities aligned with local and regional engineering trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required.
• Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8+ years of engineering experience, preferably with a geotechnical background.
• Experience managing profit and loss (P&L).
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• A strong commitment to maintaining safety standards and engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with local and regional engineering trends is preferred.

• Should have a strong track record in leading complex projects, managing budgets, and developing client relationships.
• With excellent communication and leadership skills, they can grow a satellite office while maintaining high technical and safety standards.
