About the Client
Our client is a well-established Agro Products company with a strong international presence, specializing in frozen vegetables, Indian breads, snacks, and ready meals. They primarily cater to the HORECA industry (B2B model) and are now expanding their Mumbai Retail Operations.
Job Overview
The MIS & Accounts Officer will play a key role in managing financial data, preparing reports, and ensuring financial accuracy across business operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in P&L management, and the ability to identify and address financial risks or discrepancies.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and monitor overall budgeting and P&L for shipments and operations.
Prepare, maintain, and update MIS reports for management review.
Conduct inventory reconciliations and ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records.
Track shipment-related expenses and revenues to ensure correct reporting.
Identify and escalate financial discrepancies or risks promptly.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support the finance team with invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor reconciliations.
Provide actionable insights through data analysis to support decision-making.
Skills, Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–6 years of experience in MIS, accounts, budgeting, or financial reporting roles.
Strong understanding of P&L statements, budgeting, and reconciliations.
Proficiency with Tally / ERP systems / MS Excel and accounting tools.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail with the ability to flag anomalies effectively.
Prior experience in Export, FMCG, or Food industry will be an added advantage.
