Job Description:
We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in performance materials and specialty chemicals, for the position of Divisional Head – Technical Sales.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the technical sales function across international markets, combining deep technical expertise with strategic business development. You will play a key role in shaping customer relationships, driving growth, and delivering innovative product solutions in a globally recognized organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Undertake customer visits to understand technical requirements and maintain engagement.
- Collaborate with customers on new product and application development.
- Conduct technical training for customers, sales teams, and partners.
- Coordinate with Sales & Marketing for product launches and campaigns.
- Explore value-added opportunities through trials, testing, and data sharing.
- Lead on-site troubleshooting and process optimization at customer sites.
- Partner with R&D and Manufacturing to design, test, and enhance products.
- Identify and develop new customer segments and business opportunities.
- Collect market intelligence on competitors, new technologies, and trends.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key customers and partners.
Key Info
What We’re Looking For in You:
- 10+ years of business development and sales experience
- Minimum 5–6 years managing large corporate accounts
- Background in carbon black industry or its distributors (Must Have)
- Strong technical understanding of rubber blacks
- Master’s degree or equivalent
- Excellent networking across international markets
- Fluency in German (C2) and English (C1)
- Willing to Travel as Job requires extensive travel
- European citizenship / valid work permit required
- Balanced profile: 40% technical, 60% commercial
- Availability: Immediate to 45 days
