About the Role
Our client, a well-established leader in the chemical manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead their financial operations and support the company’s long-term growth. This is a key leadership position responsible for driving financial planning, risk management, and operational excellence across all business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure sustainable business growth and profitability.
- Monitor key financial metrics and provide actionable insights to the management and board.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to improve efficiency, accountability, and analytical capabilities.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business expansion, investments, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Evaluate financial risks, propose mitigation strategies, and maintain robust internal controls.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Drive digital transformation and system improvements in financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, or MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of financial leadership experience, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, cost control, and operational finance.
- Strong understanding of taxation, compliance, and ERP-based financial systems.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
