Senior Project Manager – Modular Cooling Systems (HVDC)
Lead a high-impact HVDC modularization project that improves quality, reduces lead time, and enables scalable, standardized cooling solutions across the VSC market.
Location: Ludvika, Sweden (Hybrid), plus occasional travel to Landskrona.
Scope: Full-time
Period: 2026-02-02 till 2027-02-01, (extension possible)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager for one of our client to lead a strategically important project focused on formalizing and modularizing cooling systems for HVDC valve solutions. The assignment aims to improve system quality, reduce lead times and costs, and enable faster configuration through standardized modules. You will operate at a senior level, managing complex project structures with high management attention, working independently while coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and deliver a project to materialize a modular cooling system for HVDC converters
Formalize a cooling system with four standardized module variants
Drive standardization of pipe routing for a specific valve product type
Plan, organize, and control project scope, schedule, cost, and resources
Build and manage project teams, assigning responsibilities and tracking progress
Monitor and report project status (cost, time, staffing, risks)
Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards (e.g. ISO)
Identify and resolve obstacles affecting delivery timelines or budget
Coordinate and integrate vendor deliverables into the project plan
Support development of standardized:
Price lists
Documentation packages
Sales material
Who You Are?
Must-Have Requirements
Proven track record of leading projects with high management attention
Strong experience in general project management within technical or industrial environments
Ability to manage complex, interrelated projects
Valid SSG-Entré certificate
English – fluent (mandatory) and Swedish language skills (advantageous)
Nice-to-Have
Experience in:
Modularization projects
Standardization initiatives
Industrial or energy-related projects (e.g. HVDC)
