Role: Specialist - Safety
Reporting to: HEAD- OPERATIONS (WORKS DIRECTOR)
Location: Sinnar, Nashik
Education Qualification: Diploma in Industrial Safety
Experience required: 4 to 6 experience mainly in ETP/STP/WTP activities
Technical knowledge required:
• Strong knowledge of ETP/STP/WTP operations
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge MPCB consents and Chemical handling and it's storage
• Analytical skills and presentation skills
Purpose of the role:
The Incharge oversee the procedure and keep an eye on the facilities, to make sure the treatment plants (ETP/STP/WTP) are operating efficiently to guarantee safety regulations. It supports company for maintaining a healthy, safe and clean work environment
Roles and Responsibility:
•Responsible for collecting samples and perform routine tests to analyse wastewater at various points in the treatment process.
•Analyse pattern of issues and start troubleshooting of ETP/STP/WPT plants
•Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
•Responsible for conducting regular tests and analyses of treated water to ensure MPCB consent requirements
•Responsible performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure their longevity
•Responsible for implementation of QMS / EMS / OHSAS system and compliances of all legal authorities related to Rules
•Responsible for operating and maintaining pumps, screens, grit removal devices, and operators and perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance
•Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies such as equipment failures, power outages, or chemical spills
•Responsible for adjusting treatment processes and chemical dosages based on the quality of incoming sewage or effluent
•Responsible for keeping accurate records of treatment processes and regulatory compliance
•Responsible for maintaining detailed records of plant operations, including process readings, equipment maintenance, and chemical usage
•Responsible for promptly and effectively to emergencies such as equipment failures, power outages, or chemical spills
