Team Member Hobbing & IH
Join the manufacturing team as a Team Member – Hobbing & Induction Hardening, where you’ll play a key role in driving precision, quality, and efficiency on the shop floor.
Job Purpose:To operate and manage Hobbing and Induction Hardening (IH) processes efficiently, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Hobbing and Induction Hardening machines as per production plan
Ensure adherence to quality standards and process parameters
Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities
Maintain production output as per daily targets
Perform routine checks and basic maintenance of machines
Ensure minimum rejection and rework through process control
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain proper production records and reports
Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams for smooth operations
Key Skills & Requirements:
Experience in Hobbing and Induction Hardening processes
Basic understanding of manufacturing operations and shop-floor practices
Knowledge of quality control and inspection standards
Familiarity with TPM / Lean practices is preferred
Ability to troubleshoot minor machine/process issues
Good teamwork and communication skills
Education:
ITI / Diploma / Relevant Technical Qualification
