Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned SAP F2S Functional Consultant for one of our clients, with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), and the Forecast-to-Stock (F2S) process. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered end-to-end F2S solutions and bring deep domain knowledge in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Oil, Retail & Consumer Goods, etc.).
Key Responsibilities & Expertise:
SAP PP/MM & F2S Module Expertise:
Lead the design, configuration, and support of SAP PP/MM and F2S processes including demand planning, forecasting, production scheduling, material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management, and stock optimization.
Customize F2S flows to align with unique business requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Business Process Analysis & Optimization:
Analyze current Forecast-to-Stock processes, identify pain points, and propose standardization or automation opportunities.
Design scalable, efficient F2S process flows to improve forecast accuracy, production efficiency, and inventory control.
Cross-Module Integration:
Ensure seamless integration of PP/MM with SD, FI/CO, and QM for unified data flow and operational continuity.
Handle process dependencies such as demand management, procurement, production execution, and financial reconciliation.
End-User Enablement & Support:
Develop and deliver training for F2S cycle users including planners, production supervisors, warehouse staff, and procurement teams.
Provide expert-level support for operational issues such as forecast errors, stock shortages, and production bottlenecks.
Documentation & Compliance:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for PP/MM configurations, functional specifications, test scripts, and training guides.
Ensure documentation supports traceability and handover throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Stay updated on the latest innovations in SAP PP/MM and F2S, including SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning), S/4HANA enhancements, and SAP Fiori apps.
Drive ongoing improvements in the F2S lifecycle for better forecast accuracy and optimized stock levels.
Required Skills & Experience
8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP/MM and F2S process implementation and support.
Proven experience in end-to-end project delivery from blueprinting to post-go-live support.
Strong understanding of demand planning, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management.
Integration knowledge with FI/CO, SD, and QM modules.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working in global delivery models with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience in Engineering, Construction & Operations (EC&O) and/or Manufacturing industries.
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA PP/MM, SAP IBP, or SAP Fiori apps for planning and production.
Familiarity with advanced planning tools and digital manufacturing solutions.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Master’s degree (e.g., MBA in Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management) is preferred.
SAP Certification in SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP MM (Materials Management), or SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing is highly desirable.
