Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for one of our clients in the Oslo region. You will work with module design from concept to production, focusing on advanced 3D design, technical problem-solving, and close collaboration with production, clients, and other engineering disciplines. The role involves developing modular power and energy solutions for offshore, marine, and land-based industries using Inventor.
Key Responsibilities
Concept development and 3D design of modules and mechanical solutions
Create models, drawings, and bills of materials
Take technical responsibility for mechanical deliverables in projects
Follow up manufacturing and assembly
Participate in product development and continuous improvement of existing solutions
Qualifications (Must-have)
Relevant technical education (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar)
Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
Strong proficiency in Inventor and Vault (or similar 3D/PDM systems)
Good proficiency in Norwegian and English (both spoken and written)
Nice to Have
Experience from offshore or marine industries
Experience in a technical lead role
Knowledge of welding, NDT, or materials engineering
Experience from industrial product development environments
