Role: Team Member Manufacturing (Ring Forming)
Reporting to: Section Incharge
Location: Sinnar, Nashik
Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Technical knowledge required:
• QMS
• Gear Knowledge (Ring forming & final inspection mfg process knowledge)
• CNC Programming
• Production monitoring and respective analysis
• Good production Knowledge with Manpower Handling
.• Good Knowledge with DWM, etc.
• Packaging (Domestic and export)
• Industry 4.0 (IIOT) - Production monitoring and respective analysis
Experience required
• 1- 5 years of experience in the following:
• Able to manage production activities
• Training and skill development of the operators
• Knowledge of TPM, Lean Manufacturing, QMS systems etc
• Production Planning
• Knowledge of QMS
• Visual aids Management system
• Soft skills (MS office, MS Word & SAP)
Purpose of the role:
Responsible for Planning, Production Handling manpower & Co-ordinating with Section Incharge and within departments.
Implementing the tools and methods for increasing productivity. Meeting production & dispatch targets.
Key responsibilities attached to the role:
Section Operations
• Responsible for all the production activities in the plant, cost saving projects
• Undertakes responsibility for daily production for RF & FI sections, Machining Vendors and PMPD improvement projects
• Accountable to meet customer expectations by supply of material in right time and ensures optimum utilisation of resources
• Maintains the due dates of open shop orders on a daily basis and communicates schedule changes to the shop floor
• Accountable to releases shop orders as scheduled and generates the appropriate shop order documentation
• Accountable for utilisation of equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production plans and prioritizes operations to ensure maximum performance
• Responsible for preparation of plans work flow and schedules for production departments
• Responsible for managing Daily production planning & inventory reports preparation & communication of the same to stake holders
• Accountable for performing production risk assessment and mitigation activities
• Accountable to identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines of the production
Analysis & Reports
• Responsible for obtaining output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.), prepares and submit status and performance reports
Process Improvement
• Responsible for evaluates current production processes and recommends improvements.
• Owns responsibility for reduction in rejection, rework of production on daily basis
• Owns responsibility for driving improvement projects - manpower cost, tool cost, productivity improvement, quality improvement
Stakeholder Relationship
• Responsible for establishing working relationships with internal stakeholders viz:PPC, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, tooling, finance, quality, supply chain and logistic
process improvement
• Responsible for evaluating current production processes and recommendation for improvements
• Applies appropriate optimization methodologies to balance service level inventory, and resource utilization using advanced planning tools like SAP. Industry 4.0 (IIOT) - Production monitoring and it's analysis.
• Responsible for establishing routes and schedules for work that will ensure the optimum utilization of materials, workers and machine to provide the means for ensuring the operation of the plant in accordance with delivery plans.
Compliance & Quality Control
• Responsible for achieving budgeted revenue and ensures that finished product meet quality standards and customer specifications.
