About the Role
Greentech MW is seeking a strategic and result-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the company's finance function and support its growth initiatives. The CFO will be responsible for financial strategy, business planning, regulatory compliance, treasury management, fundraising, and driving operational excellence across the organization.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership capabilities, commercial acumen, and extensive experience in managing finance functions in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
Develop and execute the company's financial strategy aligned with business objectives.
Partner with the CEO and leadership team on strategic planning and decision-making.
Drive long-term financial planning, budgeting, and profitability initiatives.
Provide financial insights to support business growth and expansion.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling processes.
Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and the Board.
Accounting & Financial Control
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, and fixed assets.
Establish robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
Treasury & Fund Management
Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.
Lead debt management, fundraising, and capital allocation strategies.
Negotiate with banks and financial institutions for financing requirements.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, taxation, and corporate governance requirements.
Oversee direct and indirect taxation, audits, and company secretarial matters.
Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Business Partnering
Support business leaders with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Evaluate investment opportunities, capex projects, and business expansion plans.
Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
Team Leadership
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
Additional qualifications such as MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
Experience
15–20+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
Minimum 5 years in a senior finance leadership role such as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
Experience in manufacturing, engineering, renewable energy, or industrial sectors preferred.
Strong exposure to fundraising, banking, taxation, and strategic finance.
