Job Description:
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for a Business Development Manager with 3-5 years’ experience in the lighting industry. The responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to align project goals with client requirements. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for managing project proposals, assisting in contract negotiations, and providing after-sales support to enhance client satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves market research to identify potential markets and trends, as well as attending industry events to enhance market presence.
Qualifications:
Proven skills in business development, market research, and identifying and engaging potential clients.
Experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships, contract negotiation, and customer support.
Project management and planning skills, including coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with the architectural and lighting industry is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Electricals, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA would be a plus.
Proven ability to work independently and thrive in a target-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Create demand for the Helvar solution by working closely with Architects, Lighting designers, PMC, Electrical Contractor & Electrical Consultant
Develop & upscale the business of existing Lutron dealers and parallelly identify & onboard new potential dealers in the region
Develop a strong relationship with Top Key account specifiers and also plan to expand key specifier accounts.
Meet or exceed the aggressive Sales goal
Build a high level of technical knowledge of the complete product range
Work closely with internal team members to produce relevant documents to support customer requirements
Drive the entire Sales cycle right from Sales lead generation to order closure
Develop & implement marketing plans to increase brand visibility & awareness
Provide and maintain the highest level of service to customers to ensure repeat business
