Assignment Description
Are you an experienced C++ Developer looking for an opportunity to work on challenging software development projects? This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development, optimization, and maintenance of robust and high-quality software solutions using C++.
You will work in a professional and technically strong development environment in Oslo, collaborating with experienced developers and multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, test, and improve software solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain software using C++
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Apply object-oriented programming and sound software design principles
Analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective software solutions
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues
Optimize software performance, reliability, and maintainability
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Develop and maintain software documentation
Perform software testing and support verification and validation activities
Collaborate with developers and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and practices
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in C++ development
Strong hands-on experience with C++
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles
Experience developing and maintaining complex software applications
Good understanding of software architecture and design
Experience with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Experience working in Linux/Unix environments is relevant
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Good communication skills in Norwegian and English
